The short version

The System is a place to play, create, and share interactive stories. Treat other players and creators with respect, label your content honestly, and don't use the platform to create or share anything illegal or harmful. These guidelines sit alongside the Terms of Service — breaking them can lead to content removal or account suspension.

Content that is never allowed

Some content is prohibited everywhere on the platform, in every mode, regardless of a world's rating:

• Any sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualizes minors — including fictional, AI-generated, or “aged-up” depictions. This is a zero-tolerance rule and confirmed cases are reported to the relevant authorities.
• Real-world threats, incitement of violence, or content that promotes terrorism or mass harm.
• Harassment, hate, or dehumanizing content targeting people based on who they are.
• Non-consensual intimate content, doxxing, or sharing another person's private information.
• Content that facilitates real-world illegal activity.

Mature content and world ratings

Worlds are rated all-ages or mature. Mature worlds may contain adult themes and are available only to signed-in adults (18+). Rate your worlds honestly: do not label mature content as all-ages, and do not attempt to bypass age or access gates. Mislabeling content to reach a wider audience is a guidelines violation.

AI-generated content is your responsibility

Narration, character portraits, and world art are AI-generated from the prompts, worlds, and choices you provide. You are responsible for what you prompt and for what you publish. Review AI outputs before sharing or publishing them, and do not use prompts intended to produce prohibited content or to defeat safety systems.

Creating and publishing worlds

A published world can be played by other people, so it must match its stated rating and content. Only publish worlds you have the rights to share. Don't publish spam, scams, impersonation, or worlds whose real purpose is to route players toward prohibited content.

Reporting and enforcement

If you see content that breaks these guidelines, use the in-product report option. Reports go to a moderation queue for human review. We may hide, remove, or restrict content and warn, suspend, or terminate accounts depending on the severity and pattern of violations. We aim to be proportionate, and serious or repeated violations are treated more seriously than one-off mistakes.

Appeals and account integrity

If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, you can appeal it through the appeals flow. Do not evade enforcement by creating replacement accounts. Each account is the responsibility of one person, and abuse of the platform's systems — including automated scraping or attempts to overwhelm shared resources — is not permitted.
